Stimulation Clicker

Stimulation Clicker, created by Neal.fun, is more than just a playful web experiment. It’s a funny reflection of how our digital habits have evolved (or fractured) in recent decades. What begins as a simple clicker game soon spirals into a full-blown simulation of overstimulation: bouncing DVD logos, lo-fi music, ASMR whispers, cooking tutorials, murder podcasts, reminders from apps like Duolingo... Layer upon layer of noise, all competing for your attention.

And that’s precisely the point.

We live in an era where many people can’t even focus on a single video without a second one playing in the corner... Think Subway Surfers or Minecraft parkour underneath storytime TikToks. The idea of “just listening” to a podcast or being present in a task has become almost quaint. Neal captures this shift with irony, affection, and a fair bit of genius.

Personally, I found Stimulation Clicker hilarious and disturbingly accurate. One of the funniest things I stumbled upon online this year. It’s like holding a mirror up to the attention economy and realizing how fragmented we’ve become. Yet, in true Neal.fun fashion, it’s also beautifully designed, playful, and free. The final scene, if you stick with it, offers a moment of calm in contrast to the digital whirlwind you just surfed through.
